The UPC are pleased to release the entry information for this season’s UPC Irish Intervarsity Pool Championships, to be staged at the excellent Abbey Court Hotel and Spa in Nenagh, County Tiperary, Ireland. This is the second season the UPC will run the event and will this year feature increased Individual Championship match distances. The UPC is delighted to continue this event, and we look forward to another very enjoyable tournament.
UPC Irish Intervarsity Pool Championships: Nenagh
Date: 5-7 February 2016.
Venue: Abbey Court Hotel and Spa, Nenagh, County Tiperary.
Closing date for entries: 5pm, Wednesday 27th January, 2016.
Draw published: from 7pm, Sunday 31st January 2016.
These dates will be strictly adhered to. There is NO late entry period for this event.
Start Time: in a change from previous seasons we anticipate that registration will open at 09:30 on 5 February with the event getting underway mid morning. Exact times will be confirmed with the published draw.
Team size: although we did expect to move to teams of six this season this is not possible due to potential issues with hotel capacity. Our aim is still to increase team size but we will assess this following this year’s event.
Eligibility: all competitors must conform to Student Sport Ireland eligibility guidelines, which can be fond here. There will be no exceptions.
