UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships 2015-2016 – Preview & Draw

The university pool season commences with the UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships. Again in collaboration with the GB 9 Ball Tour (GB9), this year the tournament returns to the excellent Park Inn by Radisson, Telford over the weekend of 19-21 November 2015. This year’s event sees 150 players and 47 teams from 25 universities competing in one of the country’s largest 9-ball events; defending champions Cardiff University will be returning, aiming to retain their silverware, however they will face stiff competition from a variety of angles. The individual championship will also have its “favourites”, but is wide open with last year’s winner, Phil Burford (Teesside) unable to attend this year, and the excitement of the live random draw from the last-32 onwards. The UPC is delighted that our partnership with the GB9 (Britain’s official professional 9 ball pool tour, regarded by many as “The toughest national tour on the planet!”enables us to offer such fantastic playing conditions to the student population.
