Pool Pockets – Free Membership!
The UPC are pleased to announce that this year, during the 2010/11 season, ALL universities entering a team to a UPC event will receive FREE membership of Pool Pockets courtesy of sponsors UK Pub Pool Ltd. Any new universities in future seasons will also receive this reward for FREE.
Pool Pockets is a specialist scheme committed to the development and growth of pool through an organised and supported network of players and pubs. Membership includes:
* access to a large online pool community and expert guidance;
* national pool promotions and tournaments;
* pool activity products; and
* 4 different types of in-house pool tournament packages (including posters, charts, etc).
Pool Pockets membership usually costs £104, but we are able to provide this FREE to ALL universities entering our events during the 2010/11 season. You will receive information on your membership soon after your entry fee and e-form has been received.
Your membership pack will include: window stickers, promotional posters, promotional flyers for players, "Developing Your Pool Venue" guide, 30% shop discount voucher, and a website verification code.
Tournament kits (for Round Robin, Knock-out, Killer and Speed Pool) contain A2 posters, A3 posters, tournament boards, registration sheets, hints and tips sheet, rules and anything else that is needed to run the relevant tournament. These packs will be sent to you in one mailing following receipt of your entry fee and e-form.
The Pool Pockets Community Website provides unlimited promotion of your venue and activies online. Players linked to your venue are kept informed of your tournaments, promotions, news and more.
