UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships 2012 – Review

Riley’s Wavertree and Grand Central in Liverpool were treated to a spectacle of pool in the recent UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships, as University of Strathclyde won the title for the first time against local representatives and defending champions, Edge Hill University. University of Derby produced their first title winner, as Ben Buckley came through the field to win the Individual Championship, beating Corey Collins of Edge Hill University in the final.

With around 170 students participating, this event continues to boast the title of the biggest annual nine-ball event in the UK.
