The sixth season of the GB 9 Ball Tour has kicked off with a bigger bang than ever before, with Great Britain’s Phil Burford overcoming Germany’s Ralf Souquet in the final of this year’s Midland Classic. This tournament held greater significance for the UPC and student nine-ball pool players because it was the first event to be played in the magnificent Park Inn by Radisson hotel in Telford, Shropshire, which will be the stage for the UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships later this year (December 2013). Don't forget that the winner of next season's event will also win a fully paid up place on the GB 9 Ball Tour for 2014!
Attention now turns to the upcoming Paul Medati Trophy in April, a promotional poster for which can be viewed below.
The GB 9 Ball Tour committee are also pleased to announce the entry fee for a single GB9 event has been reduced to just £120, a saving of £19. This applies to all 4 remaining events of the 2013 season.
Please note that if you are planning to attend more than one event this season then it is still beneficial for you to become a full tour member as this will entitle you to gain ranking points and therefore event seeding, where appropriate. You also need to be a full member in order to qualify for a £50 discount on British Pool Federation (BPF) membership.
And don’t forget that if you have a friend who wants to play a GB9 event then by using our ‘Refer a Friend’ offer YOU will get a £20 discount off your annual fee or single event entry! Just tell them to state your name in the relevant box on the event entry form and we'll do the rest. (This offer is valid once per season, per player).
It’s nearly time for our favourite event of the season! The 5th GB9 Paul Medati Trophy along with the Mark Lovell Challenge Cup will be held at the Park Inn Hotel, Telford from 12-14 April 2013. You can find full details and the entry form here.
