The UPC are pleased to release all the entry information in relation to this season's BUCS-UPC Eight-ball Pool Championships, to be staged in Vauxhall Holiday Park, Great Yarmouth. We are also delighted to formerly announce that the women's event in Great Yarmouth will be BUCS sanctioned for the first time this season – this is an important milestone in the progression of women's pool and it underlines both the willingness by all concerned to promote women's pool, and the value we place on having a fully diverse, and inclusive competition structure, at university level. It has, however, inevitably brought with it some necessary changes for the event to bring English eight-ball pool at university level in line with mainstream pool structures and to meet BUCS criteria; principally a change in format to separate (fully BUCS-sanctioned) men's and women's competitions (from an open BUCS competition running alongside an unsanctioned women's competition, as we had last season). Finally, in another change to last year, a composite entry fee covering entry to BOTH the team and individual competitions AND accomodation is being implemented this season, to be paid as usual va BUCScore.

Teams are made up of a maximum of six players, five of which play in a match.
Composite Entry Fee: £80.00 per person

Entries received after the closing date may be accepted subject to availability for up to one week. Such entries will incur late entry surcharges of £20.00 for team/individual entry, and £5.00 for individual-only entry.
