BUCS-UPC Nine-Ball Championships 2025-26

The UPC is pleased to release all the entry information in relation to the first event of 2025/26 season; BUCS-UPC Nine-Ball Championships. The Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds will play host to the 21st edition of the tournament. The finest student players from all parts of the UK will convene over the weekend of 22nd – 25th November 2025 to compete in both team and individual competitions on behalf of their universities.


BUCS-UPC Nine-Ball Championships

Individual Competitions:  22nd – 24th November 2025
Team Competitions:  23rd – 25th November 2025
Teams are made up of a maximum of four players, three of which play in a match

Composite Entry Fee: £37.50 per person
(covers both team and individual entry, accommodation will not be provided)

Deadline for entries: Players have until 23:59 on Tuesday 28th October 2025 to enter the event on BUCS Play, following which AUs/SUs/Sports Offices will have until 23:59 on Thursday 30th October to approve their institution’s entries. There will be no extensions to these deadlines, so please make sure you have everything ready in time, including contacting your AU/SU/Sports Office in advance to make sure there will be someone with access to BUCS Play available to authorise your entries. Player Detail sheets must be sent by Sunday 2nd November 2025 @ 23:59

Unfortunately due to capacity, there will be a maximum of 48 teams this season (as last season). Preference will be given to first teams, then second teams, etc, then to institutions highest in the competition rankings. Please share this post so that all interested individuals are aware and can organise their team and individual entry.
