Following an invitation by the Higher Education Snooker and Pool Council (HESPC), the UPC recently announced that it would take over the running of the Irish Pool Intervarsity Championships, thus safeguarding the future of the event. Further to the official Press Release found here outlining this change in governance, the UPC is delighted to announce details for this season’s event.
Date: 6-8 February 2015
Venue: Fairways Hotel, Dundalk, County Louth.
Entries close: 5pm, Wednesday 28 January 2015
Draw published: from 7pm, Sunday 1st February 2015
We anticipate entry forms and information will be available soon and that entry fees will be similar to what has gone before but that it will be a composite entry fee, i.e. one fee for team and individual entry.
Start time: in a change from previous seasons we anticipate registration to take place around lunchtime on 6th February 2015, with the event getting underway early afternoon. Exact times will be confirmed with the published draw.
Eligibility: all competitors must conform to Student Sport Ireland eligibility guidelines. There will be no exceptions. These guidelines can be found by clicking here.
