The university pool season commences with the UPC Nine-ball Pool Championships, again in collaboration with the GB 9 Ball Tour (GB9) but this year in a new setting, the excellent Daventry Court Hotel, over the weekend of 27-30 November 2014. This year's event sees 123 players and 37 teams from 19 universities competing in one of the country's largest 9-bal events; defending champions University of Liverpool will be returning, aiming to retain their silverware, however they will face stiff competition from a variety of angles. The individual championship will also have its "favourites", but is wide open with last year's winner, Ben Buckley (Derby) now graduated, and the excitement of the live random draw from the last-32 onwards. The UPC is delighted that our partnership with the GB9 (Britain’s official professional 9 ball pool tour, regarded by many as “The toughest national tour on the planet!") enables us to offer such fantastic playing conditions to the student population.

The top two 1st teams in each double-elimination group shall qualify for the Championship play-offs, with the next highest placed team qualifying for the Trophy play-offs.

Registration times for each match are given per section on the right of the above documents. This is the earliest a match may be called in that section. If you fail to register at this time you will be scratched from the draw.
NOTES
Subsequent rounds (Last 32 onwards) will be drawn at random, in a live open draw.
