BUCS-UPC Snooker Championships 2024-25

The UPC is pleased to release all the entry information in relation to this season’s BUCS-UPC Snooker Championships, which will be held at the Towers, Mansfield and Cueball in Derby! The finest student players from all parts of the UK will convene over the weekend of 13th to 16th March 2025 to compete in both team and individual competitions on behalf of their universities.


BUCS-UPC Snooker Championships

Individual Competitions:  13 – 15 March 2025
Team Competitions:  14 – 16 March 2025
Teams are made up of a maximum of six players, five of which play in a match

Composite Entry Fee: £37.50 per person
(covers both team and individual entry, accommodation will not be provided)

Deadline for entries: Players have until 23:59 on Tuesday 18th February to enter the event on BUCS Play, following which AUs/SUs/Sports Offices will have until 23:59 on Thursday 20th February to approve their institution’s entries. There will be no extensions to these deadlines, so please make sure you have everything ready in time, including contacting your AU/SU/Sports Office in advance to make sure there will be someone with access to BUCS Play available to authorise your entries.

Thanks to the support of the venues and the players themselves, we have been able to maintain the cap to a maximum of 32 teams. Preference will be given to first teams, then second teams, etc, then to institutions highest in the competition rankings. Please share this post so that all interested individuals are aware and can organise their team and individual entry.
