With the replacement of the old ‘BUCScore’ entry system by the new ‘BUCS Play’ system, all universities are required to provide UPC directly a ‘Team Details Form’. This is a simple form effectively letting UPC know which players are in which teams, and which non-first team players wish to play in the Individual Championship and Trophy. This is required so we can allocate the correct players to the right singles competition, either the Individual Championship or the Individual Trophy, and in what place in the draw as some players may be given byes through the first qualifying round. Entry Limit – BUCS-UPC Snooker Championships: It has been no secret that UPC has found procuring venues difficult this year. This was no exception with our snooker event with the closure of our previous venue McCluskey’s during the pandemic. We have contacted a large number of alternatives venues within the UK, unfortunately without success. Therefore, we have decided to go back to Cueball for this seasons’ event – Cueball have been passionate in hosting our events, and they have provided us exceptional facilities when we have previously held our event there. A consequence of hosting the event only at Cueball this time around is that we will need to cap the number of teams entering as we only have access to 12 tables. This means there will be a team cap for this event of 20 teams. This is to ensure we can schedule the tournament successfully over four days, while not comprising the player experience so they play a sufficient number of frames.

The entry information for this year’s event can be found at the following links:

Snooker Entry Guidance Notes

Team Details Form

Please ensure that the respective guidance notes are read before completing the Entry Form.

Also, please share this post so that all interested individuals are aware and can organise their team and individual entry.

Should you require any further information or have any queries please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to receiving your entry!
